Manav Rachna International University, Faculty of Management Studies, Faridabad, Haryana

Established in 1997 with the vision to become a Centre of Excellence in Higher Education, the Career Institute of Technology & Management (CITM), affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University (a State University of Haryana), set out to shape aspiring students into skilled and well-rounded professionals. In 2008, the institute was granted Deemed University status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, and was renamed Manav Rachna International University (MRIU). Later, as per MHRD Notification No. F.9-3/2007.U3(A) dated 11th January 2018, the name was updated to Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS). The deemed university status was further regularized from 21st December 2013 through Notification No. F.9-3/2007/U3(A) Vol.2 dated 8th June 2018. In May 2019, Manav Rachna Dental College (MRDC) was officially brought under the umbrella of MRIIRS as a constituent institution, as per Notification No. F-10/2016-U3 (A) from the MHRD. The University Grants Commission (UGC) later conferred 12B Status to MRIIRS via letter No. F.No. 22-1/2019(CPP-1/DU) on 10th June 2020. Over the years, MRIIRS has shown consistent growth across academics, research, innovation, student support, governance, environmental sustainability, and community engagement—emerging as a leading institution in higher education.
