The Sarvodaya Educational Trust was founded on November 2, 1995, with the aim of supporting the underprivileged and vulnerable sections of society. Initially offering a Diploma in Nursing, the institution expanded its offerings over the years, introducing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc) in 1998, a Post Basic B.Sc (Nursing) in 2000, and an MSc in Nursing in 2002. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and is recognized by both the Indian Nursing Council and the Karnataka Nursing Council.
